Paper Crane Writing Services is offering a six-week online workshop starting on March 26 and running through May 6. The workshop will be led by fiction writer, editor, and creative writing professor Michael Czyzniejewski, author of three collections of stories, most recently I Will Love You for the Rest of My Life: Breakup Stories.
 
The six-week course will include …
  • Two of story workshop, where each participant will have two of their selections workshopped by the entire group, as well as the instructor.
  • Intensive generative exercises during the non-workshop weeks, exercises designed to teach challenging and progressive technique, while at the same time inspiring participants to write eclectically and more often.
  • Contemporary reading assignments and recommendations.
  • Discussions on the fundamentals, business, and ethics of creative writing.
  • A strong focus on publishing, including discussion, advice, and encouragement!
 
The workshop costs $245. Spots will be limited to maximize the participation and attention to each writer.
